College Art Association Elects New Board Members

NEW YORK—The College Art Association has elected four new members to its Board of Directors. The election was held Thursday, February 23 during the CAA Annual Business Meeting at the 106th CAA Annual Conference in Los Angeles. Board directors serve four-year terms and oversee the College Art Association’s long-term financial stability and strategic direction. 

The new board members are Laura Anderson Barbata, artist based in Brooklyn, New York and Mexico City, Mexico; Audrey G. Bennett, graduate program director, Department of Communication + Media, Rensselaer Polytechnic Institute, New York; Dahlia Elsayed, artist and associate professor, CUNY LaGuardia Community College, New York; and Alice Min Wai Jim, associate professor in contemporary art and research chair in ethnocultural art histories, Concordia University, Montreal.
