“I woke up today and found my left hand completely wrapped in a double layer of white tape. Looking closely at my limb, the rolled-up bandage seems to be a sort of indicator, a message to decipher … The performance, in the form of a silent tutorial (the only sounds are those of my body interacting with various objects on the table), is a reflection on the unpredictability and absurdity that might happen anytime and anyplace nowadays. It’s a ritual of adaptation to an imposed, unexpected situation. In practice it is also a performance about the role of humor, especially in those moments when shit happens.”
