Geneva School of Art and Design (HEAD) Open Doors will take place Saturday, January 23 online on a dedicated website: portesouvertes-head.ch.

This new interactive platform will offer presentation films, interviews with students and graduates, a 3D virtual tour of HEAD buildings and technical workshops, virtual meetings and many new contents.

Created in 2006 from the merger of two prestigious schools, the École Supérieure des Beaux-Arts and the Haute École d’Arts Appliqués, HEAD – Genève, Haute Ecole d’Art et de Design, draws on a rich cultural and artistic heritage to nurture young creative talent nationally and internationally. Renowned for the quality of its bachelor’s and master’s degrees in Fine Arts, Cinema, Interior Architecture, Space and Communication, Visual Communication, Illustration as well as Fashion, Jewellery, Accessory and Watch Design, it has established itself as one of the leading schools of art and design in Europe.

Situated in the center of the city, next to a beautiful park open to students and the public alike, HEAD – Genève is the home of over 700 students from 40 different countries, as well as 200 teaching staff. With workshops, a library, film studio and vast auditorium able to host major cultural events, the new campus gives the university the means to achieve its current and future goals for teaching and research.

HEAD – Genève is opening its doors virtually on a new platform that will stay available until the admissions procedures are open. On Saturday 23rd January, livestreaming presentations will take place, lead by the heads of departments, students and graduates that will share their experience with you. You will be able to find out more about BA and MA courses. You will be able to visit the classrooms, facilities and workshops through a 3D virtual tour. You will have the opportunity to talk with current students at work and hear more about the programmes. You will be able to see  projects in art or design and feel the taste of what studying at HEAD is. Come and share with teachers, artists, designers and filmmakers that make HEAD unique!
