The Office of Graduate Admission at the Maryland Institute College of Art is currently accepting applications for graduate study beginning in the summer and fall of 2020. Scholarships are available.

MICA is accepting applications for graduate study in a diverse array of degree and certificate programs engineered for creative practitioners eager to advance their practice through rigorous applied study. The graduate community is the hub for an extensive community of artists, designers, illustrators, filmmakers, curators, educators, critics, activists, innovators, and business strategists to collaborate, co-learn, and prepare for professional practice.

Currently accepting applications for:

Master of Fine Art: Community Arts (MFA), Curatorial Practice (MFA), Filmmaking (MFA), Graphic Design (MFA), Illustration Practice (MFA), LeRoy E. Hoffberger School of Painting (MFA), Mount Royal (MFA) Photographic and Electronic Media (MFA), Rinehart School of Sculpture (MFA), Studio Art (Low-Residency MFA)

Master of Art: Graphic Design (MA), Illustration (MA), Social Design (MA), Teaching (MAT)

Master of Business Administration / Master of Art: Design Leadership (MBA/MA), offered in conjunction with Johns Hopkins University Carey Business School

Online MPS (Applications accepted through August 2020): Business of Art & Design (MPS), Data Analytics and Visualization (MPS), UX Design (MPS)
