“We have works from all areas of our School represented in this touring exhibition,” said School of Art, Art History & Design Director, Robert Ladislas Derr. “From Sam Hardewig’s painting that highlights the medium as a vehicle for representation, Carlos Velasco’s tongue and cheek video spoofing 1980 era pop rock music videos, Rana Young’s evocative photographs exploring gender identity, to three of Professor Alison Stewart’s History of Prints class students’ text panels describing historical prints from the collection of the Sheldon Museum of Art, there is a vast array of creativity and investigation.”

The closing receptions are free and open to the public.

“All are welcome to come view the thought provoking work produced at Nebraska’s flagship university,” Derr said.

This project was made possible, in part, with support from the Hixson-Lied College of Fine and Performing Arts’ Endowment Fund at the University of Nebraska–Lincoln.
