ExpodiumResearch Project Malleability Revisited. An investigation into the current meaning of the notion terrain vague. This project is being carried out by six artists (Isa Andreu, Maze de Boer, Christine Bruckmeier, Nikos Doulos, Anke Kuipers, Joshua Thies). The progress of the research trajectory will be presented and critically evaluated by means of a series of public meetings such as events, lectures, expert meetings, and interventions in the public space.
16 October: 19.00 hrs: Expert meeting with Roemer van Toorn (Head of the Projective Theory Programme, Berlage Institute, Rotterdam) and Rene Boomkens (Professor of Social and Cultural Philosophy, Rijksuniversiteit Groningen).
20-23 October: Research workshop. Art in Public Space. Its Challenges and Changes (Mika Hannula, Professor of Artistic Research, Gothenburg University). This workshop takes place as an extension of the new publication Politics, Identities and Public Space, the first issue in the Expothesis series, a joint initiative by MaHKU (Utrecht Graduate School of Visual Art and Design) and Expodium, Platform for young art.

The publication Politics, Identies and Public Space will be officially presented at Expodium on 23 October at 1700 hrs.

Epistemic Encounters: An expert meeting concerning the current position, situation, and role of the Graduate Art School, starting from the concept of artistic knowledge production.
