The graduate architecture programs offer vision and demand commitment, through a variety of options and terms of study. A central purpose of the curriculum is to establish the architect’s identity, by educating expressive, skillful designers who are prepared to act as thoughtful, effective members of society and the profession of architecture.
The Graduate School of Architecture & Urban Design ranks sixth among America’s Best Architecture & Design Schools, according to the 10th annual America’s Best Architecture Schools study by DesignIntelligence.
Graduate School of Art – Application Deadline: January 5, 2010
This two-year, critically engaged studio program provides the framework for collaboration and both disciplinary-specific and interdisciplinary study. On a broader scale, the graduate art program prepares students to incite progressive social change, address challenges in the environment, and assume their roles as global citizens through avenues such as study abroad programs and public engagement opportunities.
The Graduate School of Art was ranked 15th by U.S. News & World Report, with the printmaking and painting/drawing specialties ranking in the top 25.
