An exhibition and programming series celebrating work by graduating students from the School of Design Strategies, which encompasses programs in Design and Management, Environmental Studies, and Integrated Design.

Product Design: Desire &mbodies Restraint
May 7- May 16
Reception: Friday, May 14, 7 p.m.
David M. Schwartz Fashion Education Center at Parsons, 560 Seventh Avenue

An exhibition of thesis work by students in the BFA Product Design program, which explores themes of desire and restraint. The exhibition coincides with Parsons’ participation in the International Contemporary Furniture Fair (ICFF), a student exhibition that considers diverse manifestations of flow.

An exhibition of photographs, installations, video projections, and magazine and book displays by graduates of its BFA Photography program, which challenges students to use analog and digital technology to create bodies of work influenced by film, design, fine art, video and sound.

Parsons MFA Fine Arts Thesis Exhibition

An exhibition of thesis work by graduates of its MFA Fine Arts program, an intensive two-year graduate program which trains students as artists in a variety of media, including painting, drawing, sculpture, video, performance, digital media, installation, and photography.

An exhibition of student work from undergraduate and graduate students from across Parsons’ five schools, including the School of Art & Design History and Theory, the School of Art, Media, and Technology, the School of Constructed Environments, the School of Design Strategies, and the School of Fashion.

School of Constructed Environments Thesis Exhibition

Parsons The New School for Design presents an exhibition of thesis work by graduating students in its School of Constructed Environments, the country’s only comprehensive school of architecture, interior design, lighting design, and product design.

BFA Communication Design & Technology Thesis Exhibition
June 1- June 4

An exhibition of work by graduates of Parsons BFA Communication Design and BFA Design & Technology programs. Work on view will include print and digital design pieces ranging from interactive gaming and animation to typography, data mapping and other multimedia.

MFA Photography Thesis Exhibition
August 21- September 11

An exhibition of work by graduating students in the MFA Photography program which, through three intensive eight-week summer residencies and two years of independent studies, provides students with comprehensive theoretical and studio training in the art of photography.
