The new Contemporary Arts Center at the UCI Claire Trevor School of the Arts, opening in 2011, features a 4,000 square-foot professional art gallery; 22 new MFA studios; and state-of-the-art instructional, research, and performance spaces. The Studio Art area includes production and laboratory facilities for photography, video, sculpture, digital media, painting/drawing, and new genres. UCI is located forty-five miles south of Los Angeles, where our faculty, students, and alumni actively participate in a rich and multi-layered art community.
