Located in the city centre of Sydney, Australia, the UTS School of Design is engaged in teaching and research situated within a wider domain of cultural production in dialogue with both the Faculty and the University. The school is currently expanding, creating a small number of fulltime positions for exceptional individuals to join the Faculty.

The School has approx. 1200 students in the areas of Fashion and Textiles, Visual Communication, Industrial Design, Animation, Interior and Spatial Design and Photography and Situated Media with excellent production facilities to support these disciplines.

We are seeking four Associate Professors who have a highly developed ability to motivate and inspire students through a strong creative practice and theoretical framework.

The successful candidate will hold a PhD, MFA, Masters or equivalent post-graduate research degree and experience in the discipline with a preparedness to teach in the undergraduate program and supervise higher degree research students, whilst maintaining an active practice and/or relevant research profile.

Salary range: Associate Professor: 120,370–128,183 USD per annum
