Academy of Fine Arts Leipzig
Invitation card. Design by Tabea Nixdorff and Ann Richter.

In their works the participating artists explore different forms of repetition and copy. Their practice includes various artistic forms of citation, reconstruction, reenactment and replication. The spectrum of techniques ranges from video, installation and sound to objects, painting, printmaking, drawing, photography and performance.

The exhibition COPY & REPEAT is the resulting culmination of the project. The exhibition catalogue reflects the project in its entirety, documenting the work of all the participating artists from Leipzig and Copenhagen and containing texts written by Joachim Blank, Stefan Heidenreich, Thomas Locher and Katrin von Maltzahn.
