How can we live together—and in the world?
With these gigantic questions as points of departure, Konstfack’s students and researchers are constantly finding new insights. Through humor, beauty, anger or proposals for new strategies, we are then offered surprising stories and breathtaking insights.

But the Degree Exhibition also induces a certain frustration: We see only small parts of the huge bodies of works in the fields of design, craft and visual arts that the education has produced. Yet, this is precisely what is special about the Degree Exhibitionthere is so much more to be gained from each of the exhibitors. In time, this will find a place outside Konstfack, in the world.

At the same time, the Degree Exhibition tells its very own story. It gives a picture of Konstfack here and now, in 2013. The fundamental questions of what it means to be human run like a main thread through the works. We are shown how we can understand ourselves by allowing critical viewing, ideas, stories and gestures to fill and reshape us.

Welcome to the Konstfack Degree Exhibition 2013
Maria Lantz, Vice-Chancellor

This year’s Degree Exhibition showcases 162 recent graduates including designers, craft-artists and art educators from Konstfack’s bachelor’s, master’s and teacher’s programs. This year also introduces five artistic development projects in connection with the exhibition.
