Consistent with its desire to be fully integrated in the markets in which it operates, Abraaj has identified an opportunity to expand its support of emerging creative talent around the world by establishing this scholarship.

The Royal College of Art is one of the world’s most influential postgraduate university institutions in art and design, educating some 1,400 students in 24 programmes ranging from Fine Art to Design and Architecture. The College has a successful track record of collaborative partnerships with leading education and industry partners, and its graduates are at the root of many of the world’s creative innovations.

Every year, for a period of five years, a cohort of five outstanding scholars will be selected for the scholarship from the 23 countries of UAE, Turkey, Mexico, India, Kenya, Singapore, Ghana, Algeria, Kazakhstan, Brunei, Thailand, Colombia, Egypt, Morocco, Indonesia, South Africa, Pakistan, Malaysia, Nigeria, Peru, Philippines, Saudi Arabia and Tunisia.
