Congratulations to University of Wisconsin-Madison graduating MFA student Sandra Erbacher, recipient of the 2014 Chazen Museum Prize. The award is offered annually by the museum in collaboration with the UW-Madison Art Department. The winner was selected by outside curator Stuart Horodner, Artistic Director of the Atlanta Contemporary Art Center. Sandra Erbacher will be featured in the exhibit You know she’s a little bit dangerous at the Oscar F. and Louise Greiner Mayer Gallery at the Chazen Museum of Art, 750 University Avenue, Madison, WI 53706. The exhibit will run April 26–June 8, with a reception on Thursday, May 1, 6:30–8pm.

In addition to the Chazen prize exhibition, the University of Wisconsin-Madison’s Art Department presents additional solo exhibitions from our graduating MFA students. Thesis exhibitions take place in one of two campus galleries. Our MFA program in Art is the finest example of creative excellence through an interdisciplinary approach to art-making as well as a study of specific media as per the needs and desires of the student. We congratulate our Class of 2014!
