Question and expand your creative process. Develop a broad network of art dialogues and contacts. Design a studio/academic plan that’s specific to your professional aspirations. Under the guidance of Lesley’s MFA in Visual Arts faculty, you’ll gain a critical vocabulary, push your ideas in new directions, and take your work into the public realm.

Our low-residency MFA allows you to work independently, with discipline and focus. Residencies in Cambridge, Massachusetts, bring you together with leading artists, curators, and critics for intensive seminars and critiques. This is where you’ll become the professional you want to be—not by following someone else’s approach, but by learning to see the meaning behind your art.

Explore our program, faculty, and visiting artists. Learn more and apply here.
