Graduations
Every year, a growing number of highly-qualified graduates of all the study programs offered leave the Academy of Fine Arts Vienna, ready to embark on their new career paths and lives. The final works are presented during the Open Days in January and in the Thesis Exhibition at the end of the academic year. Photos and information on individual works can be found in the thesis database of the Academy and in the Art & Education Yearbook. The presentations offer a representative overview of the artwork of students at the Academy and show how these works have significantly contributed to the development of arts-based research. This year, there have been 144 graduations in the following study programs:

The Academy of Fine Arts Vienna is one of the oldest but, at the same time, one of the most innovative art universities in Europe. With more than 1,400 students from over 50 countries and approximately 300 internationally successful lecturers, the Academy is one of the largest among those universities whose research and teaching mainly focus on fine art.
