The Office of Graduate Admission at Maryland Institute College of Art (MICA) is currently accepting applications for graduate study beginning in the summer and fall of 2017.

With a legacy of specialized and endowed schools, MICA’s graduate programs provide a unique focus on individual students through intensive seminars infused with participation from a diverse group of internationally acclaimed visiting artists, designers and critics such as Tania Bruguera, Chakaia Booker, Laura Parnes, Rick Lowe, Abbott Miller and Barry Schwabsky. MA and MFA students may also add complimentary concentrations—in Curatorial Practice, Critical Studies, Interactive Arts or the College Teaching of Art—that extend student practices and skills in ways intended to support post-graduate success.

MICA, consistently ranked in the top ten in the nation by its peers in US News & World Report, offers 19 unique degree and certificate programs engineered for creative practitioners eager to advance their practice through rigorous applied study in an exhilarating learning environment.
