Vittoria Martini

 

Vittoria Martini is an art historian. Her PhD dissertation—titled The permanent laboratory. The Venice Biennale 1968-1978—focuses on the history of the ‘70s Venice Biennale. She plans to finish her dissertation at the end of 2010. In 2005 she curated the historical research for Muntadas artproject On Translation: I Giardini, in the Spanish Pavillion for the 51st Venice Biennale. She was assistant curator at the Fondazione Sandretto Re Rebaudengo in Torino. In May-June 2009 she worked as the “ambassador” in “The Bijlmer Spinoza-Festival”, Thomas Hirschhorn’s new project in public space.
