SOMA is the initiative of a group of artists who, building on the experiences of La Panadería and Temistocles 44, have joined forces and created a unique platform within the cultural scene. SOMA is a contemporary art space whose aim is to counterpoint the prevailing dynamics in schools, museums and galleries.
SOMA consists of four parts: A program for the professional education of artists, a forum for conferences, discussions and weekly events, a residency system for national and international artists, and a summer program for visual artists and curators conducted in English.
