The Eugeniusz Geppert Academy of Art and Design offers top of the range art and design education on three levels – Bachelor, Master and PhD level. We are a state university and we educate students on full time and part time basis in four faculties: Faculty of Painting and Sculpture, Faculty of Interior Architecture and Design, Faculty of Ceramics and Glass and Faculty of Graphics and Media Art.

Our main building is located in the historical part of Wroclaw and the new building—The Centre of Applied Arts and Innovation—is a state of art building with ultra-modern studios and facilities.

The Eugeniusz Geppert Academy of Art and Design offers studies conducted in Polish language in the field of Painting, Sculpture, Art Mediation, Printmaking, Graphic Design, Media Art, Photography and Multimedia, Interior Architecture, Design, Stage Design, Art and Design of Glass, Art and Design of Ceramics, Conservation and Restoration of Artworks.

Three programs in the Faculty of Graphics and Media Art are conducted in English. PhD Study Program at the Faculty of Graphics and Media Art is a PhD Degree, part-time program addressed to graduates of Master Degree studies who show exceptional ability and significant artistic or graphic design achievement. The program prepares candidates for a PhD Degree in the field of fine art and graphic design. Classes are held in independent study format. The program prepares candidates for further independent artistic research and provides possibilities for didactic experience. The program executes learning outcomes in the field of knowledge on the advanced level, corresponding with the artisitic and design activity, skills connected with the methodology of providing these activities, personal and social competence related to the artistic and design activity, the artist’s social role and the academic teacher. Master of Fine Arts in Printmaking is a Master Degree, part-time program which engages students in a variety of printmaking processes. Program participants obtain the possibility to investigate and learn methods of intaglio (etching and engraving), silkscreen printing, flatbed printing (plate and stone lithography), relief printing (woodcut, linocut) and digital printing. Students participating in the program will have the opportunity to specialize in unique practices and techniques, namely mezzotint, photo-etching, or collograph. The program curriculum presents printmaking in agreement with Polish traditions and artistic achievements, and encourages contemporary and experimental approaches as well. The last one Postgraduate, non-degree, part-time program called Interdisciplinary Printmaking is addressed to graduates of the Bachelor or Master Degree studies. Under this program students will be able to realize interdisciplinary print media projects, chosen from following studios: Intaglio, Relief, Lithography, Serigraphy or Creative Drawing. The program also offers lectures and workshops provided by professors or visiting artists, artists’ books, installation-based printmaking, experimental printmaking, photo and digital media and new technology in printmaking classes. During the program students can take part in the one-week outdoor printmaking workshop. The diploma exam is a set of works realized in the selected studios, presented in a diploma exhibition.
