Eleven Scholarships at the Braunschweig University of Art




These scholarships are part of the promotion programme for artists of the Braunschweig University of Art and the State of Lower Saxony. This programme is aimed at young male and female artists who are interested in working intensively on artistic projects in the close environment of an art university. The participation of the scholarship recipients in the teaching and research work at the Braunschweig University of Art is an essential part of the support programme for artists at the university.

The Hochschule für Bildende Künste Braunschweig / University of Art is a university with strong international focus and an emphasis on both art and research. With around 1,200 students in Fine Arts, Design, Aesthetics Art History and Media Studies, the Braunschweig University of Art is one of the largest art academies in Europe.
