The Visual Arts program seeks to fill a position either as Assistant or Associate Professor (tenure-track research faculty), or as Assistant or Associate Professor of Professional Practice (practice faculty), effective July 1, 2013.

The Program seeks faculty with a vibrant studio practice, working in any medium or across mediums, and substantial teaching experience. The candidate must have demonstrated the ability to engage critically with graduate students regardless of medium. She/he should be conversant in the critical issues and theoretical discussions in the art world.

Teaching at graduate and undergraduate levels is expected, in addition to active participation in departmental committees. The candidate must be capable of service and leadership in the program as well as demonstrate the capacity to serve as Director of Graduate Studies, and/or Program Chair. A masters degree or equivalent is preferred.
