The EBABX, a public establishment of cultural cooperation founded by the City of Bordeaux, the State and the Aquitaine region, accommodates 260 students and 150 adult students. The permanent team consists of 56 teachers and 27 technicians. The establishment has a budget of 3.9 million EUR.
L’école supérieure d’art de Bordeaux offers graduate level education in art and design and gives two Masters degrees: the DNSEP National Diploma of artistic expression in art, and the DNSEP in Art with a Design mention.
The director will have the responsibility, under the authority of the administrative council and its president, of ensuring the smooth operation of the establishment and defining a strategic plan for pedagogical and cultural development that would position the EBABX as a major player in the field of graduate art studies at the national, European, and international levels as well as a leader in the local cultural scene.
