Graduate Open House provides an insider’s view to those interested in studying art, architecture, landscape architecture, or urban design at a school that provides a rigorous education, the outstanding collection of a world-class art museum, and the unparalleled resources of a leading research university. The open house includes guided tours of studios and facilities, faculty presentations, tours of local museums and galleries, discussions about admission procedures and financial aid, and a presentation by visiting lecturer William Massie.

This two-year, critically engaged studio program provides the framework for collaboration and both disciplinary-specific and interdisciplinary study. On a broader scale, the graduate art program prepares students to incite progressive social change, address challenges in the environment, and assume their roles as global citizens through avenues such as study abroad programs and public engagement opportunities.
The Graduate School of Art was ranked 15th by U.S. News & World Report, with the printmaking and painting/drawing specialties ranking in the top 25.
