Open Set Foundation

Open Set is a nomadic practice-based research platform, bringing together emergent artists, designers and scholars with the support of leading figures from design and adjacent fields. As a space for knowledge production and exchange focused on empowering emerging practitioners, Open Set connects artists, designers and scholars in a temporary community, working to reduce the isolation within the creative process. The platform supports the individual excellence of a new generation of artists and designers of any kind in a non-competitive and peer-led environment. Designed to enrich an active studio practice or ongoing education, our programs are aimed at makers and thinkers that dare to disrupt traditional definitions and methodologies, who want to take their practices to the next level.

The organization offers a variety of programs in the online and physical realm. Open Set is a life-long learning environment: programs are spread throughout year, and every course revolves around a unique theme.
