Camp Pueblo singers chant “water is life” at Standing Rock

A group of Standing Rock water protectors and Camp Pueblo singers fighting the Dakota Access Pipeline evoke the powerful phrase Mni Wiconi—“water is life”—in an intimate and powerful cry in the Siouan language spoken by the Standing Rock Sioux Tribe in one of their encampments.
