Introducing water management as a trigger for intersectional debate about political strategies for communal resilience, Vandana Shiva states the importance and urgency of ecofeminist practices and women’s rights. Calling our attention to the Water Is Life movement, as well as other movements of indigenous leadership, Shiva highlights the importance of dealing with the hydrocommons from an interconnected point of view that dismantles ontological and political divides between land and water management.
