Apply now for one of our MA study programmes at Minerva Art Academy, Frank Mohr Institute (FMI). The academy offers an international master's degree programme with four internationally recognised and accredited study programmes, each full-time, spanning two years, and credit-rated at 120 credits (ECTS); Painting, Media, Art, Design & Technology (MADtech), interRelational Art Practices (iRAP) and Design and Material (MaDAM). Whether you are an artist, designer or performer, the masters at Minerva Art Academy, FMI provide an experimental and critical environment in which to further explore, envision, and shape your ideas. Situated in the city centre of Groningen, this master offers you every opportunity to sharpen your artistic vision, break new grounds and discover uncharted territory.

Application deadlines
We recommend that you start your application early, due to potentially time-consuming immigration procedures and scholarship application deadlines.

For EU & non-EU applicants: Assessments round I, deadline to upload application documents January 29, 2023. Assessments round II, deadline to upload application documents April 2, 2023. Only for EU/EEA applicants: Assessments round III, deadline to upload application documents June 18, 2023.

About FMI Masters
Situated in Groningen, a rich cultural city in the north of the Netherlands, you can find art, design and culture at every corner. Public transport will take you to any of the cultural highlights scattered throughout the country. You will work within a global community consisting of artists, designers, researchers and performers from a wide range of countries across the world, whilst being located in a specific, relatively peripheral area of the Netherlands. This provides you with a unique perspective. An environment in which constant awareness of global connections and developments, and an intense intercultural context come together with regional and local aspects.
