As Head of School, the appointee will be play a central role in the development of plans for the new centre to serve as a catalyst for the arts, through contributing to the conceptualisation and realisation of exhibition and performance spaces and events within the building.

As a trustee of the College, the appointee will participate in College governance and administration, take part in community life, act as Personal Tutor to undergraduates and as College Advisor to graduates, take part in the admissions process, and contribute to outreach and widening participation initiatives.
