Start Point is now in the sixth edition of its annual activities, and already 28 schools from 14 countries took part in this year’s program.

Each year, two representatives of the jury and one local tutor select a single “best” work from among the entered graduation projects of each school. On the day of the opening, the final jury selects the overall winner. This year for the first time there were also awarded several additional prizes.

As the winner of Start Point 2007, Petra Herotová will present her solo show in the Gallery at the White Unicorn in Klatovy, to be accompanied by a catalog published by Galerie Klatovy/Klenová.

The winner of the Start Point Prize 2008 is Daniel Permanetter (AdBK München), for his spatial installation “Darkness at the Break of Noon”. As the main prize-winner he will prepare a solo exhibition and accompanying catalog during the next year in cooperation with Gallery Klatovy/Klenová.
