Navigating the Art Market
Dates: September 21, 28, October 5, 19, 26 (no class October12)
Time: Tuesdays, 6:30 – 8:30pm

Gain an overview of the international art market for modern and contemporary art and the key market concepts that influence it.

The Art of Collecting
Dates: October 13, 20, 27, November 3, 10, 17
Time: Wednesdays, 6:30 – 8:00pm

The practice of collecting is demystified in this course which serves as an introduction for new or aspiring collectors. The course examines a variety of important elements to be considered when starting a collection.

Art & Finance: Where Two Worlds Meet
Dates: November 2, 9, 16, 23, 30, December 7
Time: Tuesdays, 6:30 – 8:00pm

With the ever-increasing interest in investment in fine art, this timely and informative course explores the use and performance of fine art as a financial asset.

Introduction to Art Marketing
Dates: September 29, October 6, 13, 20, 27, November 3

Learn how some of New York’s most successful art organizations use marketing to attract collectors and visitors, and to build the reputation and credibility of their artists and their own institutional brands.

Introduction to Contemporary Art (1990 – Today)
