Scenofest 2011 – open registration for students workshops

Prague Quadrennial
Register by 15 February!

-› over 50 workshops and master classes with space for more than 1,000 students to register

-› workshops delivered by Eric Wonder, Pamela Howard, Julian Crouch, Liběna Rochová, Paul Zaloom, Arnold Aronson, Mariaelena Roque, and other professionals from across the globe

-› disciplines including Scenography, Direction, Costume Design, Video Art, Lighting Design, Sound Design, Puppetry, Object Theatre, Fashion Art, and others

-› workshops take place at the Theatre Faculty of the Academy of Performing Arts in Prague (DAMU)


Street Stories allows groups of students to bring a 30-minute performance to a square in the center of Prague.

The Scenofest project creates an opportunity for arts students from all over the world to meet and exchange ideas among themselves and to interact with some of the top professionals in the field through workshops, lectures and performances.


The Scenofest takes place during the Prague Quadrennial of Performance Design and Space, the world´s largest scenography event, held once every four years in Prague since 1967 – which gives to participating students the opportunity to benefit from the presence in Prague of thousands of artists from 76 countries, over 15 000 m2 of exhibitions, and an extensive program covering all performance design disciplines.

Scenofest is organized by OISTAT and by the Prague Quadrennial.

Scenofest is part of the Intersection project of the Prague Quadrennial with the support of the Culture Programme of the European Union.
