The Fair will present more than 20 international galleries in a cohesive selection of vintage and contemporary design that ranges from Swedish and Brazilian mid-century masterpieces to current work from emerging global talents. The inaugural edition, Collective .1, will coincide with NYCxDesign, Frieze New York and the modern and contemporary art auctions, and will take place in a light-filled industrial space between the gallery hub of Chelsea and the vibrant Meatpacking District.

“As an architect and collector, I have visited the greatest design fairs in the world and realized that it was essential to create an event of this caliber in New York,” says Steven Learner, Collective’s Founder and Creative Director. The fair was conceived by a passionate group of designers, curators, collectors and gallerists who recognized a need for a new commercial and educational platform for the design collector and connoisseur. With the avid support of the New York creative community, Collective intends to showcase a compelling vision of design today.

The list of exhibitors includes some of the most respected names in the international design community: 21st twenty first Gallery (New York), Casati Gallery (Chicago), Cristina Grajales (New York), Demish Danant (New York), Grey Area (New York), J.
