The Center for Curatorial Studies, Bard College (CCS Bard), is pleased to announce 200,000 USD in available scholarships and fellowships to be awarded in the 2015–2016 academic year. These scholarships and fellowships are offered to both US and international graduate students, and will be awarded according to academic merit and financial need.

In addition to these scholarships and fellowships, CCS Bard is pleased to announce that beginning in 2015 all summer work placements for academic credit will be underwritten with 1,000 USD stipends provided by CCS Bard, with matching funding requested of host institutions. The problem of unpaid labor in the art world is a subject of ongoing discussion at CCS Bard and the art world more generally. As an educational institution we hope to provide our students with important professional experiences, and to support the work of curators, projects, and institutions with the involvement and contributions of our students.

Interested students must apply to the Master of Arts program online by the February 1 deadline.

For more information about the MA program, the application process, or applying for scholarships, please visit our website.  Many frequently asked questions about the program are also answered here.

Interested students are also encouraged to contact CCS Bard at T +1 845 758 7598 or [email protected].
