At OCAD University we offer graduate students a unique experience that is solidly rooted in our 139-year history of delivering uncompromising art and design education. Grounded in practice, theory, research and professionalism, with an eye on experimentation and change, we deliver advanced experiential learning.

Our Master in Contemporary Art, Design and New Media Art Histories critically explores current creative and cultural production. Students are exposed to a compelling array of perspectives to investigate and assess the ever-shifting worlds of contemporary art, design and new media art. Our small class sizes, top-notch faculty along with exceptional access to Toronto’s world-class cultural institutions offer an unparalleled environment for research, inquiry and experiential learning.

Our Master in Criticism and Curatorial Practice offers graduate students an opportunity to explore and experiment with contemporary art, media and design through engagement with history, theory and criticism within curatorial practice. The program also promotes the development of practices which facilitate sustainability, social responsibility and diverse social and cultural perspectives.

Applications to these two programs are open until March 31.

Learn more about our graduate programs and join an online info session on Wednesday, March 2 at 6pm (EST).
