The Sandberg Instituut is proud to present its 2016 graduates to the public from Thursday, June 16 until Sunday, June 19. Around 75 students of 8 different departments will use their inventiveness and drive to inhabit various interesting locations in Amsterdam.

Whereas Studio for Immediate Spaces and the three temporary departments are taking over the former orphanage designed by Aldo van Eyk called Burgerweeshuis, the other four departments will have their graduation shows on other locations in the city. Fine Arts students, for instance, will present their works in over ten different galleries. And the Dirty Art Department is taking over a piece of land in the industrial, western part of Amsterdam. Critical Studies houses its graduation in a beer brewery and Design has their own location in the centre of the city.

Altogether this makes up for an engaging and thought-provoking four days.
