VCUarts has become known as a hotbed of artistic creation and expression. Here, emerging artists explore their potential and strive for high standards set by faculty members acknowledged for their inspiration and achievement. Education in the arts, specifically a VCUarts experience, develops creative problem-solving and critical thinking skills. Discipline and innovative thinking are fostered and arts students develop confidence and the ability to take criticism and speak articulately about their work.
