Benedict Seymour is writing a Phd about film & financialisation, and working on a minimalist musical version of Faust. He created the soundtracks for Melanie Gilligan's films Crisis in the Credit System and Popular Unrest, and has written for Mute magazine and Variant among others. He is Lecturer in Fine Art at Goldsmiths London and a Contributing Editor of Mute magazine.
