RESÒ International Network for Art Residencies and Educational Programs, established in 2010 from a shared project among some contemporary art institutions in the Piedmont Region, supported by Fondazione per l’Arte Moderna e Contemporanea - CRT in Turin. It is a network of international art residencies, with IN (inbound) and OUT (outbound) programs. Now at its seventh edition, RESÒ continues its international activity with previous and new collaborations with institutions outside of Europe. For the year 2017, the network includes Artport, in Tel Aviv (Israel), Lugar a Dudas, in Cali (Colombia) and, for RESÒ Lab, BIRUCHIY contemporary art project (Ukraine) and CAIRN art center (France).

The inward bound program of the seventh edition of RESÒ and RESÒ Lab is based in Fondazione Spinola Banna per l’Arte (Turin), Cittadellarte – Fondazione Pistoletto (Biella) and a.titolo (Turin), from September to December 2017.

The panel during Artissima Art Fair will be an occasion to discuss the relationship between research and residency. The invited artists will present their projects and talk about their residential experiences of the seventh edition.

Lihi Turjeman (Artport, Tel Aviv, Israel), IN program resident at Fondazione Spinola Banna per l’Arte, Poirino.

Vanessa Sandoval (Lugar a Dudas, Cali, Colombia), IN program resident at Cittadellarte - Fondazione Pistoletto, Biella.

Alina Yakubenko and Oleksiy Sai (BIRUCHIY contemporary art project, Ukraine), RESÒ Lab IN program residents at Cittadellarte – Fondazione Pistoletto, Biella.

Franco Ariaudo (Turin), RESÒ Lab OUT program resident at BIRUCHIY contemporary art project (Ukraine).

Rémi Groussin, (CAIRN art center, France), RESÒ Lab IN program resident at a.titolo, Turin.

The project is curated by: Accademia Albertina delle Belle Arti, a.titolo, Castello di Rivoli Museo d’Arte Contemporanea, Città di Torino/GAI-Associazione Circuito Giovani Artisti Italiani, Cittadellarte - Fondazione Pistoletto, Fondazione Spinola Banna per l’Arte, Fondazione Sandretto Re Rebaudengo, PAV - Parco Arte Vivente, in collaboration with the international partners Lugar a Dudas (Cali, Colombia), Artport (Tel Aviv, Israel), BIRUCHIY contemporary art project (Ucraina) and CAIRN art center (France).

In 2016 and 2017, the RESÒ program is coordinated by Cittadellarte - Fondazione Pistoletto.
