This year MFA students at UM:
participated in the Wynwood Art Fair in October and Art Miami fair in December;
run the Wynwood Project Space gallery in the Miami Arts District where they held solo MFA exhibitions;
produced, wrote and directed a feature film;
created short films in Guatemala, Spain and Prague;
studied Hitchcock with top film experts;
listened to Jose Marie Goenaga, Mateo Gil, Fernando Trueba discuss their work;
worked with Miami Art Museum and Art Basel-Miami;
received summer stipend awards;
joined a brand new facility for painting, glass, ceramics and sculpture.
