You are cordially invited to visit SELECTED, the Gerrit Rietveld Academie (GRA) Awards show 2014 at Castrum Peregrini.
From 13–30 November, winners and nominees of the annual GRA Awards (given each year to exceptionally talented graduates of the Rietveld Academie) will exhibit their graduation work in the gallery. The winners and nominees are chosen by an independent jury, consisting of well-known art professionals.
Participants of SELECTED are Yuri An, Stefan Auberg, Jacob Darfelt, Martin Kähler, Lyubov Matyunina, Sebastian Ly Serena, Lieselot Versteeg, and Charlott Weise.
The official opening is on Thursday, November 13, at 5pm by Ben Zegers (Gerrit Rietveld Academie) and Frans Damman (Castrum Peregrini).
The exhibition will be open Thursday–Sunday, 2–6pm (and by appointment). Extra opening hours and guided tours will be held during Amsterdam Art Weekend (November 27–30).
SELECTED Salon offers a special evening program titled “JURY on JURY,” that will take place on Thursday November 20, 7:30pm. The notion of a jury will be questioned by a variety of guests, in dialogue with the active audience.
