What do the six graduate programs of the Hallie Ford School of Graduate Studies at Pacific Northwest College of Art (PNCA) have in common? While they vary greatly—from exploring applied craft, visual art, critical theory and creative research to collaborative design and expanded print media—they each offer students deep mentorship embedded in a close-knit community. They each challenge existing modes of thinking and making. They are enlivened by the regular visits of artists, designers, scholars, curators, and activists. And they are in Portland, Oregon, a creative center ripe with possibility for adventurous students, a city Metropolis just included in its top ten list of Best Cities to Live In worldwide.

Applications are now open for all graduate programs.

And on November 19, 2016 PNCA’s graduate open house welcomes prospective students to meet current students, faculty, and program chairs and tour graduate facilities at the college’s campus in the heart of Portland, Oregon.
