The Art Department is proud to present a succession of solo exhibitions by our eight graduating MFA students over the next eight weeks, titled Your Turn to Burn. Every Monday through April, artists will transform the John and June Allcott Gallery with inventive and evocative paintings, videos, sculptures, and performances. Each exhibition features a reception with food, drink and conversation with the artist. Your Turn To Burn will kick off with a celebration on Thursday, 14 February, from 6 to 8pm for Spooky Understands, George Jenne’s provocative installation blending the gothic and the playful into a chilling, bittersweet concoction of video and sculpture exploring love and lust. Bring your Valentine.
