California College of the Arts: Call for Graduate Applications

The seven graduate programs at California College of the Arts, San Francisco—Architecture, Curatorial Practice, Design, Fine Arts, MBA in Design Strategy, Visual and Critical Studies, and Writing—are seeking applications for the fall 2010 incoming class.

Rooted in contemporary practice, CCA’s graduate programs provide fertile ground for independent research, experimentation, and exploration. They encourage interdisciplinary study, theoretical rigor, and deep critical thinking.

Our graduate students form a strong, interconnected community. Our faculty members are active, current practitioners in their respective fields, and the students greatly benefit from their wealth of knowledge and professional connections. Students also benefit from the college’s geographic location in the San Francisco Bay Area, one of the world’s most dynamic creative centers. Many of the programs enhance their curricular offerings by engaging with outside organizations and communities.

Making the cost of graduate study manageable is crucial to the college’s mission. Financial aid is available to qualified U.S. citizens and permanent residents. Applicants should, in conjunction with their CCA application, file the Free Application for Federal Student Aid (FAFSA) starting January 1, 2010.
