Afterall is seeking Associate Editors (part-time)
Afterall – A Journal of Art, Context and Enquiry is co-published by Central Saint Martins College of Art & Design and California Institute of the Arts through offices in London and Los Angeles.
In 2006 our London office launched Afterall Books with East Art Map, the first book in a new series of survey publications, and the One Work series – a library of books, each focusing on one important work of contemporary art through a single text.
We are now looking for ambitious and motivated individuals to work as Associate Editors in our offices in London and Los Angeles. In addition to contributing to researching content, identifying writers and editing texts for Afterall journal:
Our London-based Associate Editor will have a key developmental role in establishing our new imprint Afterall Books.
Our Los Angeles-based Associate Editor will have a key developmental role in establishing Afterall Online.
Applicants should be experienced in publishing and editorial work and have an excellent command of English. A strong knowledge of contemporary visual arts is also essential. Applications from women and minority candidates are strongly encouraged. Afterall is an Equal Opportunities Employer.
